Featuring staged readings of new plays by local and national playwrights, this free one-nighter series will weave in and out of the 20% Theatre, Twin Cities, season.
Written by Trish Salerno, directed by Shannon C. Harman
Where would you be if you were trapped by Entropy? What if all the forces of your subconscious joined together in an epic battle to wake you up and put you on a collision course with your life? What if we really did have Guardian Angels, and yours was a relentless, nagging bitch? Wrecked is a flippy, twisted story of one woman's battle to get moving again.
Sunday, September 16, 2007, 7pm @ The Beat Coffeehouse, 1414 W 28th Street, Minneapolis (corner of Hennepin & 28th) |

Written by Sarah Kane, directed by Natalie Novacek
Sarah Kane's final play is a beautiful, highly poetic tour de force which explores the anguish of madness from the inside out—a stream-of-consciousness view of one young woman’s struggle to attain peace. First produced shortly after Kane’s suicide in 1998, 4:48 Psychosis has been described as “so stunningly staged and dangerously beautiful that it all but leaves a bruise” (Time Out). 20% Theatre Company, Twin Cities, will fully produce this haunting work as part of the 2008-2009 season. (This reading is just a sneak peak!)
