The Twenty Percent Theatre Company, Twin Cities - Submitting Scripts and Proposals

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT SUBMITTING SCRIPTS AND PROPOSALS TO 20%:

The 20% Theatre Company Twin Cities is always accepting submissions to be considered for staged reading or our main-stage production season, or other performance event. If you are a playwright, director, actor, designer, or performance artist, and would like to propose a project/play, or submit an original idea or script, please fill out the appropriate submission form (left) and mail it to us with the script or idea.

Guidelines:

• The work must have been written or developed within the past 20 years. Typically, main-stage productions are no older than 20 years and staged readings are no older than 5 years. We prefer modern topics/characters, and are not currently interested in historical plays.

• If you are submitting this work and have either written/created it or are requesting to be directly involved with it, you must be female or identify as transgender or gender-queer.

• There is no minimum or maximum length requirement for the work.

Script submissions will not be returned. We will only contact you if we are considering your play for production or reading. Please send script submissions with attached submission form (hard copies only) to:
